Blood Brothers, A Musical
Book, Music & Lyrics by Willy Russell
Directed by ICTC Producing Director Fortunato Pezzimenti

Now in its 21st year of continuous production on London's West End, this enormously popular musical tells the deeply moving story of twins separated at birth who, unaware of their true relationship and living at opposite ends of society, declare themselves "blood brothers."  The ensuing powerful narrative by the author of Educating Rita relates their tragic destiny as the brothers fall in love with the same girl.  Nominated for siz Tony Awards.
Matinee dates:  Wednesdays, September 23, 30 & October 7

Someone Who'll Watch Over Me
by Frank McGuinness
Directed by ICTC Associate Director Greg Natale

Most requested for revival at ICTC, this gripping drama was first produced by the Irish Classical Theatre Company fifteen years ago.  It tells the powerful story of an Irishman, an Englishman and an American taken hostage in Lebanan as they struggle to overcome their differences and maintain their sanity.  Filled with humor, poignancy and tenderness, this Tony nominated play is an unforgettable theatre experience.
Matinee dates: Wednesdays, November 4, 18 & Friday, November 13

The Relapse (or Virtue Endangered)
by John Vanbrugh
Directed by ICTC Associate Director Derek Campbell

Temptation lurks around every turn in this stylish Restoration Comedy, cleverly updated to the Carnaby Street era.  A loyal and lovely young wife worries that her husband may succumb to his lingering immoral inclinations, while a penniless n'er-do-well schemes to make off with his brother's bride and her generous dowry.  In this delightful melange of sophistication and farce, delicious duplicity abounds.
Matinee dates: Wednesdays, January 20, 27 & February 3

The Lonesome West
by Martin McDonagh
Directed by ICTC Associate Director Greg Natale
In this dark and savage comedy set in a small and godforsaken Irish village, a pair of warring brothers lives to torment one another.  Following their father's death in a shotgun "accident." fueled by pride and poteen, their vicious baiting and violent brawls are merciless and unrelenting.  The parish priest, alcoholic and suicidal for reasons of his own, entreats the brothers to reconcile as their squabbling spirals into comedy and chaos.
Matinee dates: Wednesdays, March 3, 10 & 17

Engaged
by W.S. Gilbert

Directed by ICTC Producing Director Fortunato Pezzimenti
Victorian theatregoers were titillated.  You'll be enchanted.  In this topsy-turvy satire on marriage and money by W.S. Gilbert of Gilbert and Sullivan fame, a suitor pledges undying devotion to every girl in sight, and Scottish villagers make a living derailing trains and charging the waylaid passengers for hospitality and accommodations.  In this zany and farcical world, will romance or money prevail?  Directed by ICTC Producing Director Fortunato Pezzimenti (A Servant of Two Masters, Charley's Aunt).
Matinee dates: Wednesdays, April 28, May 5 & 12

Lovers
by Brian Friel
Directed by ICTC Artistic Director Vincent O'Neill
Penned by Ireland's greatest living dramatist, Lovers is a play in two parts, Winners and Losers.  Set in Catholic Ireland in the 1960's, Winners explores the young love of a teenage couple about to be married who meet to study, but instead reveal to one another their hopes.  Losers is a comic masterpiece, as a pair of middle aged lovers deal with the challenges of a demanding and pious invalid mother who would frustrate their amorous ambitions.
Matinee dates:  Wednesdays, June 9, 16 & 23

Tickets are only $10 per student.   All performances begin at 10AM.
