 School For Scandal

“Cut Scandal’s head off, still the tongue is wagging.”

September 13 to October 14, 2007
by Richard Brinsley Sheridan

Wealthy, middle-aged Sir Peter Teazle is recently married to the young and beautiful Lady Teazle who delights in the daily rounds of fashion, young men and malicious gossip. Meanwhile, Lady Sneerwell desires Charles Surface who desires Maria, the ward of Sir Peter, while Lady Teazle rebuffs the seductive advances of Sir Oliver Surface. If you enjoyed ICTC’s critically acclaimed production of She Stoops to Conquer, be sure to see Sheridan’s glittering comedy of dazzling wit, delicious scandal, and unforgettable characters.

Directed by ICTC Associate Director Derek Campbell, this stellar cast includes Vincent O’Neill as Sir Peter Teazle, Robert Rutland as Sir Oliver, Tim Klein as Joseph Surface, Neal Moeller as Charles Surface, Casey Denton as Careless, Todd Benzin as Snake and as Moses, Kurt Guba as Sir Benjamin Backbite, Peter Palmisano as Crabtree, Joe Natale as Rowley, Nathan Winklestein as Trip, Jeffrey Coyle as Sir Toby Bumper, Leah Russo as Lady Teazle, Anne Roaldi as Maria, Josephine Hogan as Lady Sneerwell, Kelli Bocock-Natale as Mrs. Candour, Rich Kraemer as the Servant and Mary Jayne Ertel as the Maid.
